E-safety is an important area of your child's education in today’s digital world and is embedded in their learning at school. We have security measures in place in school to help safeguard pupils from potential dangers or unsuitable material. E-safety is discussed regularly and pupils agree to abide by the photographic permissions and acceptable use policy.
The following document is a useful and thorough guide to supporting children with technology. We live in a rapidy changing world and although there are many positives to the online word there are also risks, particticularly for younger people. Internet Matters
Internet matters is a charity who provide lots of support and advice about keeping safe online. The advice is tailored to children by age group and by on-line activity, including;
- Seting up filters at home and filters on devices
- Installing screen time limits
- Settign restrictions around social media limits
- Safe on-line gaming
The advice is clear and eay to follow and definitley worth reading to ensure that onlive activities are as safe as possible.
